Nina Bunjevac - Artist, Designer, Visual Communication Specialist

Nina is a Toronto based visual artist, illustrator, graphic designer and a comic book artist. Her art education began at Djordje Krstic School for Applied Arts in Nis, Serbia and Montenegro, continuing on to Art Centre of Central Technical School in Toronto and The Ontario College of Art and Design.

As a visual artist, Nina is represented by The Spin Gallery in Toronto. Nina's comics have appeared in a variety of small independent literary and comics magazines in Canada and Europe. Her work has been recently featured in CRACK!, the International Independent Comics Festival in Rome, Italy. She also guest edits issues and is a regular contributor of Don't Touch me comics, an independent Toronto based comics publication. Nina has also won multiple awards from The Ontario Arts Council in the area of Arts in Education for her self-publishing and ‘zine making projects within the public school system and cultural outreach programs.
